Lectio magistralis Arch. Carlo Ratti

Venerdì 13 febbraio 2026 l'Arch. Carlo Ratti terrà nell'Auditorium del nostro Liceo, dalle 10 alle 11:50, una Lectio Magistralis dal titolo “La città del futuro”. 

Carlo Ratti, architetto e ingegnere, ha fondato la CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati, è Direttore del MIT Senseable City Lab e insegna sia al MIT di Boston sia al Politecnico di Milano. Inoltre è stato il Curatore dell'ultima Biennale di Architettura di Venezia. Ha vinto inoltre diversi premi, scritto numerosi libri e papers, tenuto molti seminari in giro per il mondo.

The way we live, work, and play has changed a lot in just a few years. One big reason is that people and things are now connected all over the world through the Internet. Today, something new is happening. The Internet is no longer only on screens - it is starting to live in the real world around us. Objects like lights, cars, and buildings can now sense, think, and share information. This is called the “Internet of Things.” This new technology can help in many areas of everyday life: saving energy, moving around cities more easily, making things smarter, and helping people take part in decisions about their communities.

L'Arch. Carlo Ratti nel suo intervento esplorerà queste idee condividendo progetti che mostrano come la tecnologia possa migliorare le città e la vita quotidiana, ponendo al contempo importanti domande su come dovremmo usarla saggiamente.
La lezione è indirizzata alle classi quarte e quinte i cui Consigli di Classe hanno deciso di aderire all'incontro.
